Meet Dr. Robert Didier

Dr. Didier graduated from Napa Union High School as senior class president. He was awarded the Silverado Scholastic Society Scholarship for academic excellence. He went on to study at the University of San Francisco where he completed all pre-dental requirements in only 3 years achieving the deans list in all semesters.

He was accepted to University of Pacific School of Dentistry and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He was invited to join the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for his academic achievements. In his sophomore year he won the National Institutes of Health Essay contest and was awarded a trip to Washington DC to join other winners in a National Institute of Dental research planning conference.

Dr. Didier has consistently pursued his dental education focusing in the areas of Temporomandibular Disorders,  Reconstructive,Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.

He is a recognized expert in the field of TMJ treatment. Highlights of his training include a mini-residency at the University of California. He was invited by international expert Dr. Chuck McNeil to become an Associate Professor at UCSF where he taught and lectured for two years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. There are only 250 diplomates worldwide! He is also a member and fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

In the area of cosmetic dentistry Dr. Didier has attended the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum at the University of Pacific and has studied with Dr. Frank Spears at the Seattle Institute for Higher Education. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In the area of implant dentistry, Dr. Didier has been doing implants for over 15 years. He continues to pursue his education in this area through his membership in the Seattle Study Club and fellow in the International  Congress of Oral Implantologists. A special interest of Dr. Didier’s cosmetic implant dentistry which focuses on undetectable implant restorations.

Besides dentistry, Dr. Didier enjoys boating, deep sea fishing, traveling, and growing grapes at his Napa ranch, gourmet cooking and physical fitness activities.
